About This Site
The Portishead Marina in our name refers to the generic name of the General Area and Community commonly known as Portishead Marina. This is the area pointed out by non-commercial highway signage and by common references in local maps, nautical charts and newspaper articles. It is not to be confused with any specific facility or commercial entity within the Marina Area. We aim to to facilitate all the commercial entities in the area. As part of the porti.info and general tourism projects, our service is a non-profit communication facility for the community of Portishead Marina. We welcome participation by all members of the community and we offer a free of charge facility for commercial enterprises to list their businesses on the site and for local community groups to promote their organisations and events.
